Meet our Therapists:
Kirk Hayes, PT ATC
Kirk Hayes grew up outside of Brainerd, MN. He received a B.S. in athletic training from NDSU and received his Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Mary. He has been with Altru since 1999 and specializes in sports medicine and spine care via the McKenzie Approach. He is married to a lovely southern gal, Savannah, and they have one child. Activities enjoyed outside of work include canoeing, hiking, fishing, climbing and serving God.
Kevin O’Brien, DPT
Kevin O’Brien grew up in Devils Lake, ND. He attended UND and graduated in 2005 as a Doctor of Physical Therapy. He has been working with Altru since 2006. Kevin has specialty training in shoulder disorders, mechanical diagnosis and treatment of spinal pain and vestibular rehabiliation. Kevin is married, and they both stay very busy keeping up with their son. Hobbies include water sports, music, computers and outdoor activities.
Lynn Ophaug, OTR/L, CLT
Lynn Ophaug grew up in Carrington, ND. She graduated from UND in 2004 with her Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy. She has been working for Altru since 2006 in the Outreach Therapy Department. She has received advance certification in lymphedema therapy as well. Her specialty areas of practice include edema management, upper extremity and hand therapy and work injury rehabilitation. Outside of work she enjoys yoga, watching UND sports, yard work and playing with her dog, Remy.
Scheduled Hours:
Tuesday – 7:00 – 9:00am
Thursday – 4:00 – 6:00pm
