NAUTILUS STRENGTH TRAINING EQUIPMENT (Members 15 & Over)

YMCA Wellness Center trained staff will introduce members to one of the most sophisticated lines of equipment. We have 18 pieces of 2ST Nautilus machines for a total body workout. Very user-friendly equipment with hydraulic seats for easy setup for members. Call the Fitness Center to schedule orientation sessions 775-2586.

NAUTILUS  8 WEEK WELLNESS PROGRAM (Members 15 & over)

A trained Wellness Center Instructor will introduce you to the YMCA Nautilus 2ST equipment.  In the first week, you will be instructed on how to properly utilize half of the Nautilus equipment, cardio equipment and stretching techniques.  In the second week, the instructor will take you through the second half of the Nautilus equipment, cardio equipment and stretching techniques.  In the third week, the instructor will review all equipment with you to ensure that you are comfortable and confident in utilizing the equipment and newly acquired stretching techniques.  In the following weeks, the instructor will provide coaching and motivation for you, at least once a week, as well as, answer any follow-up questions for you.  Please call the Wellness Center to schedule your orientation and training sessions to begin on your way to a healthier you!  (775-2586 ext. 230)

CARDIO THEATER

Cardio Theater Boxes are attached to pieces of cardiovascular conditioning equipment. Just bring in your headphones (or buy them from us) to listen to the 5 TV's. You can also listen to radio stations.

FREE WEIGHT EQUIPMENT (Members - 15 & Over)

We have a large area for our free weights with several different benches, bars, plates, dumbbells, 2 cable crossover, Smith machine, 2 squat racks, and leg machines. Wellness Center Instructors are available for spotting and training on equipment.

WOMEN WITH WEIGHTS

Attention all Women!  Learn the basics to weight training in a women's only class.  A great introduction to total body weight training.  This class will familiarize you with different exercises for all muscle groups to start you on your way to a stronger and healthier you.  You will develop the knowledge and skills to build the perfect strength training workout using free weights and body resistance.  Come and enjoy all of the benefits of adding strength training to your health and wellness routine.  Classes are held Tuesdays in the Wellness Center weight room from 7:00-8:00pm for a 3 week session.  Fee:  Members $20   Note:  Class size limited to 5 participants per session.

Session Four: Jan 8 - Jan 22

Session Five: Feb 5 - Feb 19

JUNIOR WEIGHT TRAINING

 

This training program is designed to expose members age 11-14 years to the benefits of utilizing the Nautilis and Cardio equipment for their overall health and wellness.  Upon completion of this training, students can utilize the Junior Weight Training hour on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 4:00-5:00pm without a parent or guardian.

CARDIOVASCULAR CONDITIONING EQUIPMENT (Members - 15 & Over)

7 Stairmasters; 9 Life Fitness Cross Trainers; 10 Treadmills & 5 Precor Cycles (3 upright, 2 recumbent), 4 Precor Ellipticals and 2 NuSteps.

PERSONAL FITNESS TRAINING (Members Only)

Personal Training is here to make you look and feel your best! Get started today with one of our great programs: (Prices are subject to change) Personal Fitness Training: (Fitness Evaluation Required) One on one weight training sessions to help reduce body fat, tone and/or sculpt your body. We’ll help you reach your goals and build confidence in yourself!

6 Sessions = $150.00

Fitness Evaluation: Required for new clients.

Consists of blood pressure, resting heart rate, 7 site skin fold, 3 minute step, flexibility, 1 minute sit-up crunch and bench press tests: = $30.00

Single Training Session (after 6 completed sessions) = $30.00

Fitness Re-evaluation: See the results of your hard work! = $20.00 per test
