YMCA WAHOOS
SWIMMING TEAM
No one sits on the bench in swimming. We believe in promoting an environment where swimmers of all ages and ability levels can achieve their personal best. For some that may be swimming 100 yards without stopping; for others it may be qualifying for their first YMCA national meet. Regardless of the goal, personal victories are celebrated on a daily basis and not just in competition.
The RRVY Wahoos want each swimmer to develop not only in life-long love for the sport of swimming, but also personal skills to last them a lifetime. Setting and reaching goals builds confidence, dedication and character. Team practice provides the daily support and encouragement needed by every participant to become stronger. The Wahoos are a United States Swimming organizations club, as well as being affiliated with the national YMCA organization.
Practice Schedule: Swim practices will be held at UND’s Hyslop Pool. Schedules vary, so please contact head swim coach Bryan Walls at (218) 791-9120 or Amy McCann, YMCA Aquatics Director, 775-2586.
